THE GOLF 8,5 IS LOADING…

GOLF is the first car that made statement for itself… And guess what, Polo, Tigguan and other VW cars followed suit.

This is why all eyes are on what the next Golf will bring. This most loved car has proven that even the sky is not the limit when it comes to power, reliability and performance any car could reach.

At VW’S Indaba in Kariega in the Eastern Cape, VW recently dropped the good news on the upcoming launch of the Golf 8,5 models, a facelift of the eighth-generation that was offered exclusively in GTI and R guises in South Africa, likely to arrive in South Africa around April this year.

The pricing will be:

The 1,4 TSI 110 kW Tiptronic Life is looking to be from R580 900.

The 1,4 TSI 110 kW Tiptronic Life+ is set for R604 500.

The 1,4 TSI 110 kW Tiptronic R-Line is looking set to start at R660 000.

And the 1, 4 TSI 110 kW Tiptronic R-Line+ will start from R688 100.

What VW lovers can expect is a redesigned MIB4 infotainment system which displays on either a 10,3 or 12,9-inch display as well as improved driver assist functions.

On the outside, the German automaker has realigned it with the rest of its contemporary line-up with the inclusion of an illuminated front logo and new alloy wheel designs.

The Golf 8,5 has redesigned front bumpers, which differ depending on the model, optional new LED Matrix headlights and an illuminated VW badge upfront.

But that is not all coming from the Volkswagen stable, keep logged-in Cartrends to see more.
