WITH a growing range of stylish, tech-savvy cars and an increasing footprint across the country, Chery has won many hearts of car lovers.
The brand has now partnered with one of soccer greats, Mamelodi Sundowns, in a strategic alliance to highlight Chery’s commitment to the South African market.
The Brazilians, as the club is affectionately known, confirmed on Friday that Chery South Africa has become the official vehicle partner of Sundowns taking over from their previous vehicle sponsor, Hyundai.
In a statement, the club said that it welcomed Chery South Africa as their vehicle sponsor with warm hearts.
Under the partnership, Chery will supply Masandawana with a fleet of SUVs for their travel to matches and club engagements.

The club is a powerhouse locally and across the continent with a record number of league titles.
They also have numerous domestic cups, and Continental triumphs in the CAF Champions League and African Football League.
Tlhopie Motsepe, Sundowns’ chairman, welcomed the partnership.

He said they are delighted to welcome Chery to the Mamelodi Sundowns family because they are united by ambition and people-first values.
Chery South Africa CEO Tony Liu said that they are excited to partner with Mamelodi Sundowns.

Sundowns has secured their eighth consecutive Betway Premiership title.
