TOYOTA Starlet has achieved a four-star rating for Adult Occupant Protection and a three-star rating for Child Occupant Protection.
The results were announced on Tuesday 1 September at the Global NCAP Forum for Safer Mobility in Cape Town.
The latest results follow earlier testing conducted on a previous-generation Starlet model that is no longer representative of the vehicle currently sold in South Africa.

The current Toyota Starlet incorporates a comprehensive package of safety features designed to improve occupant protection and support safer mobility.
The vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive suite of active and passive safety technologies, including standard side and curtain airbags, electronic stability control, anti-lock braking systems and a high-strength body structure engineered to enhance crash protection performance.
